Youth Zone Research Project
We are excited to be currently be working with OnSide to conduct research for the upcoming Crewe YouthZone!
Our panel of young women researchers have been looking at what makes them feel safe, comfortable and welcomed into community youth spaces, and their research will help to bridge the gap between male and female usage of these spaces.

Our latest trips
Carlisle
We had a positive trip to the youth zone where we were able to join in with activities and took a tour of the building. The researchers are happy to report some big positives from the trip including the wholesome feel with a Karaoke on a projector screen in the main room, a café providing a safe private space to eat as well as a gym which felt private and positive.
The researchers noted that there was young peoples artwork on display, a lot of these has a focus of positive campaigning. Within the building there was also a library/study area which was practical but comfortable enabling young people the area needed to complete their studies.
After a positive trip the researchers are looking forward to collating their findings to support future decisions in the designing of Crewe Youth Zone.
